Each student is funded by the school based on the required PPR (Pupil Performance Rate). Students enrolling in the eSchool will need a computer with internet access, headphones, microphones, and an internet connection to complete their coursework. After completing the curriculum successfully, students will be awarded a high school diploma.


The Southwest Colorado eSchool was founded to offer students equitable learning opportunities. It provides education to students who are unable, or unable, to attend traditional bricks-and-mortar schools. The school has grown and diversified over the years, while still serving the most marginalized students in the region.

Colorado Virtual Academy

The Colorado Virtual Academy is a middle school curriculum designed to help students meet Colorado's academic standards. This program is based upon the National School Lunch Program. It has a poverty level of less than 6.6%. Students may be eligible to receive free or reduced-priced meals if their household income is below 40C/day.

The school's overall performance was ranked among the top 50% of Colorado schools based on its test scores. It was ranked in bottom half for math proficiency while it was top half at reading proficiency. The percentage of Colorado students who are proficient in these areas is respectively twenty-three percent & forty-five percent.

My Tech High Colorado offers a unique learning experience that combines online and on-site classes for students in grades 7-12. This program allows students both to attend classes on-site as well online. Students can also participate in extracurricular activities at their local school. To accommodate this, My Tech High offers Split Enrollment, which allows students in grades 7 through 12 to take up to two classes at a local school while maintaining a My Tech High schedule.

My Tech High Colorado online middle school students have access to their online courses 24 hours per day. Teachers are available to students via email, phone, and Zoom video conferencing. Teachers are expected to respond within 24 hours. The school enrolls new full-time students every nine weeks.
